Early Preschool Enrollment (New Students Only) 2026-2027

Early enrollment for Head Start and Title Preschool (On My Way PreK) students will be Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Enrollment times will be 9:00-11:00am and 3:30-6:00pm.

*Note: If your child is already enrolled in Head Start, then you do not need to attend early enrollment.*

Head Start is open to students who turn 3 years old by August 1, 2026, and are NOT eligible for kindergarten. Families may qualify by income, TANF, Food Stamps, or SSI Disability. Proof of income or assistance will be required. A copy of the child's birth certificate will also be required for enrollment. Income documentation can include any of the following: food stamp qualification letter (the card alone will not work), 2025 tax forms, 1 month of check stubs, TANF letter of qualification, SSI letter of qualification, or foster placement letter.

On My Way PreK/Title Preschool will be filled with students who qualify for "On My Way PreK" first. Parents/ guardians will need to apply on the April 14th date.

On My Way PreK Qualifications:
1. Students must be 4 years old before August 1, 2026 to apply.
2. Must completely fill out the application and submit all documentation needed.
3. Families enrolling should bring birth certificates for all children in the home, utility bill (within 30 days of April 14th) with parent/guardian name and address, parent/guardian photo ID, and a pay stub from each working adult in the home (within the last 30 days).

Documents are not required April 14th, but preschool spots will not be held unless all documents are submitted. See the flyer below for more information.

All remaining spots, for those who do not qualify, will be given on a first come/first serve basis during registration on July 21st and July 22nd.
